Wednesday night we all went to Dollar General and all got cheap "Nerf guns" and when we got back to DDC we had a war in our bunks which was quickly "Shut Down" (In quotes because it really didn't stop us). On Thursday we were woken by more of Mr. Ely's death metal, which was quite scarring, and started our day. Teams Red & Blue were given the task of painting a lady's house, which took up the majority of the day. When we got back, however, the fun truly started. All teams went to an old department store to dance with some of the locals and have some fun embarrassing ourselves. Maria got up and sang with the band which was awesome! Our team were showing off on the dance floor (and car) and overwhelming the other teams, who were unable to match our singing skills. We are beat from the day and want to get to our nerf war so we will post more tomorrow! Spotty Internet has made it hard for us to get our photos up tonight (and every other night) but Ms. Ting has been helping us. We can't wait for our cornhole championship tomorrow!!!!!!!!!! It's down to Red and Orange!!!!!!!!!!!
A special note to David, Beth, Emily, and London:
I had a great day today. I miss London a lot though. Anyway Mrs.Goode had to jump on my bed to wake me up. I am not very good at waking up, as you guys know. Coach Kondo told me that if I were to get a superlative it would be the hardest waker upper. Somebody even asked me if I got beat up the night before because my eyes were partially closed and I look very tired. I think I look like a zombie, but let me tell you... I sleep great. Hard as a rock and when I'm out, I'm out. Anyway's I just don't wake up as well without being licked by London and tickled by you guys. Oh well. Then I had breakfast and had to do the dishes. Then I got dressed and got ready for the day. We went to a house which belonged to a very sweet and kind old lady named Sharlie. We painted her house and I had a great time there. I talked a lot, but still got the job done. The lady was so nice and asked almost as many questions as MeMe, but I mean who can pass MeMe's numbers of questions! The lady was also kind of hard to hear and so to most of the questions I would just nod or say yea. But Sharley did not notice because she just wanted me to talk to her. We had a special connection because are names were almost the same. Mid way though painting we went to a park and ate lunch. I had cookies, pizza, apples, kool-aide, Cheetos, and a tootsie-pop. Then we played the tennis ball catch game and we played lava monster. We went back to the house to finish up and made a list of all the facts that we knew about our coaches. After finishing up we went for Milkshakes! I got a vanilla because I like vanilla. We went home and I showered. Then I played corn hole... AND WON! Ian and I whipped the tar out of them the score was 21-3! Then I ate dinner and lots of snacks.. Surprise, Surprise, Surprise! Then we packed up and loaded to go and dance. We went to the dance and the locals were so kind and welcoming. I danced with every single boy and had lot's of fun. Then on the van ride home we screamed and "sang" our heads off. We had a great time. When we got home we all started playing more corn hole and eating pizza. We then ate more...... And are now blogging and about to go to bed! I love you guys, and I don't really miss you... At all... But I would not at all mind seeing my sissy or my doggy! xoxo-charlotte!!!!!
