7:00 am: Disney songs can be heard throughout the DDC. We all got up and had breakfast.
Today, team blue (us) and team purple drove through a mysterious land called Scott County to visit a man’s house to paint it. Once there, we cracked open the paint, avoided wasps’ nests, and battled LASER SHOOTING ROBOTS!! No, not really. We tackled a house, which is much more scary.
After the completion of that impossible task, we traveled back to aid our allies in the raiding of the DDC’s garage. We sorted supplies, dueled dust bunnies, and constructed shelves that had a death wish.
After finishing (with much celebration), we claimed our reward: a trip to the rope swing. This was a unique experience with perilous treks up an unforgiving cliff, 30-degree water, and people eating the water more than they ate the pizza casserole at dinner.
Our daily challenge was to create the best team poster possible in 25 minutes. (Ours was clearly the best)

Isabella – Hi Mom, Dad, and Nathan! Dungannon has been very fun! I have lots of stories for when I go back to Richmond. Miss you all lots; see you next week! Love you all!
Catherine- The small stories that keep you smiling- At Rex Smith’s house (the one we painted), his neighbor came over to see our splendid progress. The man offered us two ladders, but even better Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Capri Sun, Kool Aid, and other drinks. This man didn’t have to do give us drinks, ladders, really anything, but he did. I love you family! Say hi to Ozzie.
Neuner- “I did it! (the rope swing) And I didn’t faceplant!”
